Promotional Representative

I am outgoing, motivated and passionate about marketing. Along with my love for strategic marketing planning is my passionate and enthusiastic work ethic. I have experience in marketing, public relations, recruiting, event management, and retail.

Working as a promotional representative for various companies in-store, at trade shows and at events. Clients include: Heineken, Dos Equis, Vitamin Water, Hawaiian Tropics, Banana Boat, ENA Media, Volcom, and Caddy Cuties Hawaii. Top events include: Heineken All-Star Bash, Celebrity Golf Tournament, Billabong Pipe Masters, Pro Bowl Meet and Greet and Cinco De Mayo.

Recruiting, processing and verifying candidates for a variety of office and administrative positions. Meeting goals in respects to all parts of recruiting including placements, interviews and inquires. Working with a team to fill job orders timely and efficiently. Processing employment paperwork and maintaining client and associate relations.

Employment Manager

Managing the content and coverage of our news. Organizing our weekly staff meetings, assigning articles and event coverage to staff members, and communicating closely with copy-editors and web editors to deliver news to our students daily via our website and social media.

News Editor

Working under the payroll manager to process payroll. Filing, organizing, calculating and processing payroll forms including time off requests, sick leave, time sheets, and employment contracts. Handling phone calls, visitors and scheduling for the Vice President of Administration and the President when necessary. Also handling student employment forms, files, and annual payroll reports.

Program Assistant (Payroll)

Serving at a busy tourist destination, selling approx. $1,000 a night. Ranked #3 out of 80 Servers for GSS rating, Guest Satisfaction Survey. I also received recognition from corporate for excellent  customer satisfaction and up-selling.

Server

Working with the Human Resources department to process employee leave requests, in and outgoing mail, employee contracts, and retirement paperwork.

HR Administrative Assistant

Working in a casual retail setting while strategically planning sales goals, increasing PacSun's return on investment, keeping inventory, and meeting sales goals on a monthly and weekly bases. I was also recognized as a Pro Seller of the Week In March 2012 for meeting corporates sales goals. My team worked to turn our store from 3 years in the red to a constistantly profitable store within 2 months. We also ranked #1 on Black Friday for year-to-date sales out of 773 PacSun's nationwide.

Manager/ Brand Representative

Serving as the Vice President of Student Activities in ASLCC. Serving as chair of the club committee, and activities committee. Also serving on university committees like the $5 million dollar capital project fitness center user group, presidential search committee, and sustainability committee. I also served as a member of executive counsel. I planned and coordinated a event planning team of 3 to execute large college events for 7,000 students, including. Red Devil Days, Multicultural Day, the Biggest Loser Fitness Program, and Back to School Bash. I also managed club budgets, and have experience with strategically cutting budgets.
