My name is Sam Leibowitz and I will be graduating in December 2014 from West Virginia University with a BS in Fashion Design. I am highly interested in a January 2015 job within the fashion design department. I feel that the university has prepared me to benefit your company from my hard work, determination and love of fashion. In addition to my studies, I had the opportunity to intern with Lilly Pulitzer where I had the opportunity to use my design techniques and create trims while working with fabrications and color, Nordstrom where I put my social skills to use as I learned under the Nordstrom Family, Hartstrings Design where I designed apparel for children on the Tori Spellings Little Maven Line, and as a stylist for Revelry Dresses where I communicate with Greek women and show them styles that are big for the recruitment season. All of these company’s gave me a learning experience as a designer, model, team player, stylist and other fields within the fashion industry. Previously I just came from Lilly Pulitzer where I was challenged as a designer to work within other departments and learn different ends of the company. I put countless over time hours in without being asked, I would take work home when it was not even necessary, and I was extremely organized as I helped the color fabric and trim department get organized in their new space. I was a strong leader as I worked on assignments with other interns and I went into work everyday with a smile on my face as I was highly motivated to be working within the Fashion world. I have great time management skills and make sure my work is done before the due date.
