Intern

I was a Counsellor for the Teen Program at this specialized camp for children considered to have special needs.  The young men I have directly under my wing have disabilities ranging between several disorders such as PDD (Pervasive Developmental Disorder), Autism, OCD (Obsessive Compulsive Disorder), severe Depression, severe Anxiety, Asperger’s Syndrome, and ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder.  With the assistance of two other Counselors, I stay with these boys for a total of seven weeks in a cabin, organizing their daily maintenance and hygiene, plus following a highly structured schedule of activities suited to their needs.

Teen Counsellor

I was responsible for brewing and filling orders and ordering necessary supplies in the brew-house at the Brewery.  This job required particular attention to time management and attention to detail in order to produce a consistent, high-demand product for consumers.  The brewing schedule is strict, and peak performance is necessary to meet deadlines on a daily basis.  It also requires a working capability in regard to product knowledge and troubleshooting in different areas of production, as well as keeping a close eye on inventory for reordering and availability.

Brewer

I was asked by the owner of this bi-weekly newsletter to be his editor, using my background in English literature for editing purposes and my knowledge of MSOffice software to help him organize and layout articles and sections. My role sometimes also included brainstorming new ideas and seeking out items worth including for each edition.

Editor

In my role as Instructor/Dive Master, I captained two different small boats, performed scheduling via email and phone, while also having the responsibility of completing several projects with short deadlines including creating and implementing marketing strategies, designing marketing materials, developing emergency protocol, ordering equipment, inventory, investigating travel assistance for customers, etc.  All this while teaching, maintaining, and organizing scuba courses as well as regular dive trips for previously qualified divers.
•	Executed a successful, targeted marketing campaign that attracted high-profile international clientele to broaden the customer base and build a long-term sales strategy.
•	Maintained a strong community presence that generated continued referrals through word-of-mouth.
