Morning Show Producer on 105.7 MAX FM

Create daily content for morning drive broadcast, station website and social media platforms. Manage the morning show, from generating ideas to overall audience engagement. Responsible for sourcing potential contributors and interviewees while communicating effectively and tactfully with executives, press contacts, filmmakers, business managers and other publicity personnel in person, on the phone and via email. Manage the logistics of the show, resources and equipment. Strong attention to detail and ability to balance multiple moving parts is a direct correlation to my duties as the executive producer. Work with local and national sales executives to coordinate promotional contests, live on-air endorsements. Manage and work with on-air talent and promotions on a daily basis to expand community involvement, listener participation and overall station imaging. Created content for the San Diego Chargers section of Her Game Life. Represent Her Game Life in a professional manner at all NFL events including training camps, tailgates and games. Wrote match-ups previews, recaps and fan based lifestyle pieces for online publishing.

Freelance Contributor

Responsible for set-up and on-site activity for the San Diego Padres pre-game and post game live remote broadcasts on XX 1090. Professionally represent XX 1090 and 105.7 The Walrus at multiple San Diego community events, including press conferences, festivals and social activities. Oversee college interns for promotions events. Work with sales executives to fulfill digital  elements in sales campaigns. Manage the streaming audio promotions and advertisements for XX 1090, 105.7 The Walrus, ESPN Radio 1700 and KPRI. Create monthly reports and recaps for various promotional and developmental campaigns. Create content for event calendars, promotions and weekly e-blast newsletters.

Assisted in coordinating an annual street festival (Sheila R. Hardin San Diego Multicultural Festival) with an estimated attendance of 25,000 attendees. Maintained a budget of approximately $50,000, finishing the event under budget. Applied for the City of San Diego's Special Event Permit, City and County grant funds and solicited public and private sponsorships. Held a position in the festival steering committee comprised of 10+ community leaders. Worked with service vendors to comply by ADA standards for public events. Familiar with the County of San Diego Environmental Health standards to ensure all food vendors are properly permitted for public and private events. Planned and executed logistics, programming and promotions for special events, including guest and vendor registration, volunteer opportunities and program agendas.
