I'm a versatile marketing and content strategist with a deep interest in customer and user-focused marketing. I've done almost everything marketing-related at some point in my career, and I prefer to wear multiple hats rather than just one. I don't have an ego around work; no job is too small if it's the job that needs to be done. 

I'm currently getting my MBA in Sustainable Systems at Bainbridge Graduate University, where my focus is on creating business solutions to poverty. I'm on the Diversity & Social Justice task force and I have particular interests in climate change, green building, renewable energy and sustainable transportation. 

Marketing specialties: Web strategy, content strategy, social media, writing, editing, WordPress website development, web content, content management, user research and information architecture. I have a knack for taking a mess and making sense of it. I also have experience in brochure development, direct mail, email, html, magazine articles, marketing,  marketing materials, messaging, multimedia presentations, multimedia production, newsletters,  presentations, press releases, research, search engine optimization (SEO),  video, and voiceover work.

•	Create comprehensive Internet strategies and develop WordPress-based websites to help small businesses increase visibility and generate new business.

•	Created website communication strategy and oversaw implementation of multisite WordPress redesign for nationwide non-profit BreadfortheJourney.com.

In this short-term contract I managed all social engagement for the University, including eight accounts across Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn and Instagram. Consulted on UX improvements to websites, crafted landing page experiences, and built landing pages for marketing campaigns. Wrote and edited blog content. Performed all website updates for three sites.

Marketing Associate

•	Interviewed users on 5 continents and analyzed findings to guide UX strategy expediting content discovery, increasing user engagement, and broadening subscriber base of Science magazine website.
•	Performed user research and UX design to improve navigation, aid content discovery, and increase engagement with prospective students on UNI.edu.  
•	Guided content strategy and development for redesign of Menlo.edu.

User Experience Architect

•	Operated blog focused on empowering sustainable living.
•	Wrote and edited content on green innovations, practices and products.
•	Implemented marketing strategy to generate affiliate income.

Managing Editor

•	Strategically leveraged a limited marketing budget with carefully selected mix of channels to maximize sales of high-end construction software. 
•	Crafted branding, content, and strategy to communicate benefits and increase sales of complex estimating and 3D CAD software products.
•	Developed extensive marketing materials to implement marketing strategy, including website, email, video, direct mail, advertising, and trade show displays.

Director of Marketing / Digital Marketing Director

Provided pro bono marketing to SREP, a conservation biology non-profit working to protect and restore large, contiguous habitat networks in the Southern Rockies Ecoregion. Developed top-level
marketing messaging; concepted, wrote and managed creation of brochure; helped plan and
promote fund-raising event; and consulted on website architecture and design.

Marketing Consultant / Content Development

Performed detailed groundtruthing and boundary surveys of proposed Colorado wilderness areas, providing detailed written and photo documentation of all man-made routes and improvements. Contributed to the successful designation of wilderness areas including the Dominguez Escalante Wilderness Area in western Colorado.

Roadless Area Surveyor

Provided pro bono marketing strategy and content creation for a brochure promoting the CEC Mapping Project and recruiting volunteers to conduct Wilderness Characteristics Surveys.

Marketing Strategy and Content Development

Crafted website portal strategy to integrate three Windows Media Technologies websites. Managed  initial redesign process, wrote and edited copy for the sites and managed all editorial and content issues surrounding re-launch of two Web sites. Performed all production work for day-to-day maintenance and updates of sites.

Web Content Editor (Contract)

Managed development of Fortune 500 corporate websites from start to launch. Developed Web strategies including information architecture, content strategy, and user interaction. Wrote site copy for clients including Reebok Europe and Research International.

Project Manager

NetShow (now Windows Media Technologies) is Microsoft's streaming multimedia creation and delivery software package. Produced multimedia presentations to highlight the capabilities
of NetShow technology. Wrote documentation detailing NetShow audio production methods.
Compiled and edited an extensive glossary of NetShow and Internet multimedia terms.
Performed extensive audio codec tests with NetShow. Performed voice-over duties for NetShow tutorials and other multimedia presentations.

Producer (Contract)

Developed websites and wrote content for Fortune 1000 companies including the original National Football League website.
