I just finish a 9-month certificate program at University of California, Irvine (UCI) Extension in Marketing and International Business with a 3-month non-paid internship. This granted me the OPT, which is an opportunity to have a full-time job in United States.

I graduated from Fundacao Armando Alvares Penteado with a degree in Business Administration. While I was pursuing my degree, I received an offer to work for KPMG as a Trainee (paid intern). In my six years working for the firm, I had the opportunity to work in three different departments and collaborated on multiple projects. During this period I was promoted from Trainee to Senior Consultant. This experience allowed me to develop skills such as supervising a team, effectively leading meetings and presenting reports to top executives all the while successfully meeting stringent deadlines.

I believe I am goal oriented, driven and organized. These traits have allowed me to earn two Bachelor’s degrees, in Business Administration and Accounting, while simultaneously maintaining a full time professional job and receiving multiple promotions.

- Developed the Ad Calendar for the 2015 fiscal year, which will be used in the following years in order to organize the ad’s release date and the publications that will be posted;
- Created a Marketing plan to increase the Company’s participation in the Outdoor Sports market;
- Assisted the Marketing Director in the day-by-day activities, which consists of assembling Public Relations Kits (for delivery to clients and publications), shipping products to athletes, attending meetings about trade shows and ads, and organizing the office and marketing war room.

Marketing Intern

- Advised clients under financial distress or insolvency and provided cash crisis management, financial modeling and debt restructuring services;
- Oversaw fieldwork and reported to senior manager and director, sometimes acted as interim manager when needed;
- Responsible for financial modeling, prepared restructuring plan, reviewed and managed team tasks (such as implementation of cash management and other financial controls) as well as attended debt negotiation meetings with manager and director.

Supervisor

- Managed the fieldwork team and its tasks;
- Responsible for the communication between the client, fieldwork team, director and client’s creditors, managing each one’s expectation;
- Worked with clients to establish and implement financial controls to improve company processes;
- Utilized cash crisis management, financial modeling and debt restructuring services for clients facing financial distress or insolvency.

Senior Consultant

- Assisted project leader by conducting financial and accounting analysis, meeting with and interviewing key decision makers;
- Managed the junior consultant and the trainee, distributed and reviewed tasks;
- Worked with clients to understand their needs and concerns related to the target company;
- Communicated with each party (client, target company, superiors and fieldwork team) involved in the transaction accordingly;
- Prepared reports in English and Portuguese.

Consultant

- Supported the Consultant and Senior Consultant responsible for the project, conducting accounting and financial analysis;
- Led meetings and interviews with key people of target company;
- Organized and prepared reports in English and Portuguese.

Jr. Consultant

Support to Consultant in charge of the project conducting accounting and financial analysis and producing tables and charts in Excel spreadsheets;

Trainee

- Helped clients understand the laws surrounding global workforce in terms of regulatory compliance issues;
- Prepared the calculation and filed income tax returns for individuals and expatriates of multinational companies;
- Assisted clients and conducted meetings in English, Spanish and Portuguese.
