Senior Marketing Design Manager

Seasoned marketing and design leader with extensive experience team building, mentoring and developing design and marketing professionals. Proven track record of leading, managing and executing multi-faceted projects for market driven results. Strong technical aptitude with the ability to communicate and develop marketing initiatives that support product and sales goals.

In my role at Equilar I lead an innovative creative team that develops all external facing marketing, content and event material. We provide critical attention to detail during each iteration, through production and final delivery of assets in a fast-paced deadline driven environment. 

We work hands on with external partners including Nasdaq and E*Trade, while communicating with internal department stakeholders, Sales, Products and UX teams to ensure that brand communication is aligned and consistent with company business objectives and within established brand style guidelines.

Key areas of responsibility include competitive analysis of target demographic and positioning of marketing efforts, strong conceptual thinking, growing and managing business relationships with vendors and strategic partners. Development and communication of company design processes and standards, templates and deliverables. Work closely with team members to develop web analytic tracking and tag management systems to identify the customer journey through marketing funnels and campaigns. 

Equilar is the leading provider of board intelligence solutions. Its data-driven platforms, BoardEdge and Insight, provide tools for board recruiting, business development, executive compensation and shareholder engagement. 

During the better part of the last decade I've had the opportunity to run my own design and marketing brand. Through this experience I created effective print and digital solutions that made an impact, drove sales and adhered to established brand and identity guidelines. Identified key trends and developed innovative concepts and campaigns for multiple touch-points. Produced material that clearly communicated the brand, established identity and distinguished overall company goals.

Self Employment and Contract Roles

• Design: Developed original advertisements for digital, print and web campaigns. Designed original production visuals that were consistent with the Gearys luxury brand identity guidelines.

• Art Direction: Directed a team of stylists, photographers and external vendors to execute the concept and production of Gearys luxury retail style book. 

• Media Coordination and Management: Coordinated all marketing efforts for print publication, web, digital and billboards. Created and distributed internal daily advertising briefs for all staff.
Scheduled and conducted monthly advertising meetings with buyers, executives and management.

Graphic Designer and Media Coordinator
