Marketing Intern

I am currently a graduating senior at Husson University completing my Bachelor of Science in Marketing Communications. I have over five years of experience in the customer service industry, and am currently working as a Sales and Marketing Intern for a fabric building and engineering branch in Sanford, Maine. Although I do not have more than a few years experience in the realm of Marketing, my portfolio speaks for itself. In less than one year in my current position I have become the go-to team member for all brand related sales materials, I have helped improve SEO and presence on the web and social media, and worked with our international partners to solidify a strong message that is portrayed in all aspects of the company.
In my spare time I am an avid outdoors person. I participate in rock climbing, backpacking, kayaking, cross country, and would like to explore ice climbing, base jumping, and surfing in the near future.
Between my knowledge of the Marketing industry and my love of adventure, my ideal position would be to strengthen the image of an outdoor gear company and create a unified and consistent representation of that brand.

Updating and generating content for social media, designing all print media and advertising using the Adobe Creative Cloud, improving SEO using Google Analytics and Adwords, collaborating with Rubb Buildings Ltd. on branding, sending out print and e-mail mailers via MailChimp, working closely with the sales team to determine necessary materials and operations, following up with clients and getting testimonials, photography and video, industry research.
