Intern

I'm an experienced writer and am currently working as a Social Media Manager.  I'm looking to use these skills in an industry that I enjoy and continue to further my career

In addition to my other responsibilities, I am currently working as an intern at Omghow.  Omghow.com is a website aimed at young girls that allows them to write and request different how-to articles.  In this position, I write and edit a number of articles for the site whilst meeting deadlines and other requirements.

I work with a number of clients to optimize their marketing strategy, focusing particularly on social media strategy and content creation.  One of my key roles is to craft engaging content and copy for multiple social media networks, such as Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Instagram, Pinterest, etc. for a number of clients.  In addition to managing, selecting and developing these social media accounts, I also write blog posts and other copy for use on our clients' websites.

Social Media Manager

I have been running a blog since March this year which has been heavily involved in my graduate studies.  I am in charge of creating all of the copy for the site, in addition to the layout and design (and the coding of this).  I write posts myself, in addition to the selection and editing of work by others.  In addition to this, I run the social media accounts for the site (such as Tumblr, Twitter, and previously Facebook).
