Design strategy

A young, enthusiastic and motivated person with a variety of experience, adaptable to and ready for any role with the flexibility to relocate as required. I have a passion for market and culture driven products; as well as the examination and exploration of untapped market segments. Strong ethnographic researcher who is not afraid of challenges be they professional or personal and a good people's person. I am particularly  interested in working in a consultancy environment as a design strategist or a product/ industrial designer.

Small scale design consultancy established creative peer network. Projects utilised the different skill ranges of members (some members not used on certain projects). Though DbR worked on several types of projects, I participated on projects regarding packaging design, CAD (and renders), medical design, product design and jewellery design.

Design Consultant

Mentoring received after market discovery competition was won looking at the appliance of lean start up methodology with regards to a product design based business. Due to program changes I was no longer eligible to continue on it.

Entrepreneurial Program Participant

Product Design Intern, Moree ltd, Dusseldorf, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. Design internship consisting of product development working on Lounge S range, and partially on the Lounge M, Studio and undisclosed product. Also responsible for web updates in all languages, advertisement flyers, trade show layouts and image preparations for magazine publication. Contracted 1 year.

Product Designer

Pool Lifeguard, The Regional Fitness and Swimming Centre, Peterborough. Worked as part of a team to manage, maintain and control a safe pool environment. Ended due to university commitments and licence expiring.
