As an Analyst in the Materials Management department, I am responsible for a magnitude of roles that cover both the Analytical and Procurement areas of the department. On the analytical side, it is my objective to the assurance of data integrity, Item Master Set-Ups, and the mass upload of specs pertaining to items found on site.
On the procurement side, my responsibilities include being responsible for developing, executing and managing the purchase of goods, materials and equipment in support of CNRL operational and capital activities. To accomplish this I must prepare and issue request for quotations and prepare commercial evaluations and issue/manage purchase orders. I also support the lead in the development of an Approved Manufacturers List and Standardization Pricing Agreements where appropriate.


As an Account Representative, I was responsible for maintaining business relations within particular districts around the city. Within each account it was my responsibility for promotion, product-line education, the monitoring of price margins and share growth, and overall consultation of their business within the tobacco category. The challenges faced in a dark-market force me to think outside the box for ways to reach our target market without using the failsafe of traditional forms of media.
