I'm just looking to aid others in connecting with people, places and products that might help them achieve a more fun and fulfilling life. I've done this in various forms since I was a teenager, but in my mid-twenties, circa 2009, I went back to school, got a degree and made it more official. Now I have the experience and the piece of paper with my name on it.


Edit video for and manage TMS' YouTube page, including tagging and descriptions. The channel is number one in outdoor-sports-retailer views. I also write about local outdoor activities, trip planning and my personal outdoor experiences, for TMS' blog, with strategic product placement.

Supplemented real estate income by valuing foreclosure properties. Researched comparable sales, then completed analysis using different software platforms depending on which bank owned the property.

Research & Analysis

Niche: first-time buyers. Drove traffic to website with Craigslist. Signing up for new-foreclosure-listing emails required giving a phone number. Called within 24 hours, set appointments. Returned to school when market boxed out new buyers in favor of cash investors, making my career unrewarding.

Managed entire foreclosure process on a twenty-plus-property account, from default to escrow: Inspections, valuations, evictions, coordinating contractor bids and repairs, marketing and contract negotiations.

Portfolio Manager

Niche: listings. Obtained by referral and cold calling expired contracts. Began handling foreclosures when market tanked, out of desperation.

Real Estate Salesperson

Modest, teenage, entrepreneurial experiment. Became installer certified, but couldn't find work due to lack of experience. Obtained wholesale license and provided mobile sales and installation of car audio, navigation, alarms. Marketed by word of mouth. Worked in restaurants to make ends meet.
