Accounts Receivable Analyst

Extensive experience in accounting with emphasis in A/R. Looking for an opportunity to show my skills and enhance my abilities.

• Manages the control environment for manufacturing to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Will also have the role of maintaining and updating internal control documentation as is required.
• Maintain a list of key contacts for each account
• Prepare and organize documentation necessary to collect payment
• Will interface with inside and outside auditors to share information and coordinate periodic reviews and where necessary drive the implementation of corrective actions.
• Responsible for management of accounting transactions in support of the receivables process, including establishing and maintaining account reconciliations.
• Review weekly aging report and address accounts 45+ days past due
• Follow-up to ensure all actions are completed in order for payment to be made
• Continuously work to improve A/R processes through technology or quality improvements.
• Professionally handles all incoming calls from customers including returning the calls and expediting 

Research and execute competitive pricing and appropriate services in response to major RFP's, rate requests for service vendors from overseas partners, and from Graebel sales force. Research, develop and implement pricing strategies. Ensure vendor information is correct and accurate for RFP processes. Perform other related essential duties as assigned or requested.Proven strengths in and ability to: Read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals  technical procedures, and numerical data. Write simple reports and general business correspondence. Effectively present information and respond to questions from management, customers, and employees. Calculate figures and amounts, such as discounts and interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference and volumes. Calculate rates based on applicable tariffs. Calculate weights based on volumes. Effectively create and manipulate documents utilizing the Microsoft Office suite, including, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

US FREIGHT ACCOUNTING

Invoicing and Billing Processing, Verify and post payments to customers account.  Resolve payment problems/discrepancies in a timely manner. Maintain Aging Report- Follow up/ work on past due accounts. Maintain history on customers for proper approach for collections.
Review and establish accounts on credit hold. Follow established procedures for cash and credit card payments. Return messages or inquiries for information requested. Process Month End, Credit Memos, Credit Inquires, Mas 90, Mail out monthly statements, Review Fed- Ex bill for  any discrepancies, Assist with Payroll , Perform duties defined by management.

Accounts Receivable Manager

Billing, keeping track of and collecting money owed, Remote Deposits, Month End processing/balancing maintaining customer files, communicating with customers, preparing bank deposits, Reporting collections status to manager on a regular basis Investigating and resolving all payment discrepancies in a timely manner, Communicating with collection agencies and attorneys regularly , prepare monthly AR reports and aging, research and respond to customer account inquiries and disputes.
