Owner/Lead Designer

Hi! I'm a graphic designer currently working in Carlsbad, California. Originally from a little place called Door County, Wisconsin I grew up working on a horsback riding stable. While there I learned the meaning of hard work (Shoveling manure 8 hours a day will do that) and how to work with all sorts of people. During those years I saw magazines and even some DVD's ordered through the mail of surfing and skateboarding in a mystical place called California. I needed to get out there. But first, I had to do some good old fashioned book learning. College took me on a quick detour to Rochester, New York where I spent four years perfecting my art at Rochester Institute of Technology. Now, with my arsenal loaded I am in sunny San Diego living my dream, surfing and doing great design with great people.

Senior Graphic Designer

I designed and managed websites &amp; brands for 30+ web properties across several verticals. I also researched and designed the UI for a custom CMS improving editorial & media buying productivity. These efforts led to a $60 Million acquisition by OpenWeb in January 2022.

Graphic Designer

Design packaging, print, and web for a wide variety of clients, including Steiner Leisure, Cricket Wireless, and Disney.	

My main responsibility was to lay out pages for HD Supply product catalogs. I was responsible for maintaining brand consistency across all publications with a scrupulous attention to detail.	

Designed digital and print materials for several San Diego area businesses. Projects ranged from web design and email marketing to branding and page layout.

Assisted the staff portrait photographer. Main responsibilities included retouching photos, printing photos, and assisting portrait sessions.

Photographer’s Assistant and Retoucher

Organized and managed all aspects of the Door County Homebrew Contest. Arranged judges, collected entries, & ensured a fun time was had by everyone involved.
