I've been in an outside sales / account manager role since '09. I worked for Confluence Watersports from February '11 until May '14. During that time I worked remotely from Austin, covered 7 states solo, and within the first 18 months of employment I increased territory revenue over 1 million dollars and won salesperson of the year in 2012. After leaving Confluence my goal was to cut back on the amount of annual travel and ideally take a job in Austin. I accomplished that with an industry switch that ultimately just doesn't fit my personality. I've learned a number of important lessons with the switch that can only come from first hand experience. My immediate goal is to land an outside sales role in the industry I'm passionate about. Long term is to remain in the industry and work up to an executive management position and / or build a business from my knowledge and expertise in the industry and with the products I care about.
