Production Assistant (PA)

Since 2011, I have worked as a Freelance Production Assistant in the DFW area. I have had the privilege to work on projects such as the hit TV series 'DALLAS' on TNT (Seasons 2&3) & the TV series 'Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders: Making the Team'. I have also worked on upcoming feature films such as 'One Heart' as well as the hit TV show 'After the First 48' on A&E. Along with full length features and television, I have worked on national TV commercials and corporate video shoots.

I have many years experience with nonlinear video editing systems including Final Cut Pro and Adobe Premiere. I also have experience with Film Production and Television Set/Studio Production settings.

Worked on the physical set of the production, whether on location or on a sound stage. They report to the assistant director (AD) department and key set PA if one is so designated. Duties include echoing (calling out) "rolls" and "cuts", locking up (making sure nothing interferes with a take), wrangling talent (actors) and background, facilitating communication between departments, distributing paperwork and radios, and related tasks as mandated by the ADs. Set PAs usually work 12- to 16-hour days with the possibility at the end of a shoot to work more than 20 hours a single day and are regularly the first to arrive and the last to leave

Mentor and council 40-50 freshman/sophomore residents. Train new incoming Resident Assistants. Work front desk of residence hall, providing assistance to residents and faculty. Perform on call shifts responding to incidents. Help build community within the resident hall. Help promote educational events. Set up programs for residents. Handle conflicts and situations that may occur in the residence hall.

Resident Assistant (RA)

Expo - sort freshly made food onto trays to be ready and delievered promptly to guests by BWW wait staff.
Cashier - place to go orders over phone via customers. Place carry out orders through cashier touch screen operating system in house. Greet incoming guests in a polite and friendly manner and walk them to the dining room.
