Platemaking Supervisor/Night Prepress Supervisor

Have over 25 years of experience in the newspaper print industry, mostly working in production. I would like to take that experience and knowledge to another print facility.

duties include supervising the platemaking department and the nightside pre-press production floor; traffic coordinator for all products; making sure the presses start on time; streamlining workflow processes and procedures to enhance production; writing workplace policies to define jobs and job performance of associates; evaluating associate performances; leading a team of associates in the making of plates for nine daily papers, related preprinted products and over thirty weeklies and commercial products; liaising with all other departments and commercial clients to anticipate, identify and handle all problems as well as ensuring client satisfaction; executing periodic press checks to ensure quality and accuracy; setting up maintenance schedules for equipment.
