Videographer

Christopher Buford is a triple-threat videographer, possessing extensive experience in shooting video and stills, editing video and audio tracks, and creating attention grabbing motion graphics. With only 4 years professional experience under his belt, Chris has already been entrusted with assignments such as training new photographers, setting new station standards, and has even been sent to embed with U.S. Army troops in Afghanistan. This photographer is a quick learner always on the lookout for new tricks and techniques to add to his arsenal, and more importantly, ever hungry for new opportunities.

- Hired to start a new in-house Creative Services Department for a chain of car dealerships. 
- Wrote, Produced, and Edited all video advertising for 4 dealerships.
- Kickstarted a social network initiative and took video content beyond traditional delivery methods.
- Created informational and entertaining content for Youtube, Facebook, and Twitter. 
- Brought Youtube engagement from below 2,000 views from 2009-2013 to over 22,000 views by the end of 2014.
- Crafted web banners and print media for the Advertising Department, to include the 30th Anniversary logo.

- Enterprised, organized, and produced the biannual series KCEN Anchors Earn Stripes for November 2012 and May 2013 sweeps periods. Both series were a critical success across the station viewing area.

- Created multiple promotional spots, recording both video and audio in-studio. 
- Directed camera operators during live events and operated a multi-camera switcher.
- Scheduled studio and field productions with attention to cast and crew availability.
