I have interned for the Orange County Public Defender for the past year. At this internship I help attorneys, paralegals and investigators with criminal cases. My duties include but are not limited to, organiing trial binders that contain confidential information in an efficient and timely manner, working independently with minimal supervision on different projects involving criminal cases, receiving and delivering mail to and from court and the District Attorney’s office, filing, writing motions and serving subpoenas to the District Attorney and the Santa Ana Police Department, answering phone calls from inmates and attorneys, filing, photocopying, and faxing important documents, completing tasks using Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel and Outlook


Provide helpful customer service by assisting customer's questions and concerns 
? Develop effective communication with customers from diverse backgrounds 
? Supervise and help train new employees
