I have been in the role as an Administrative Receptionist for 10 years, mostly in the medical field. I am proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. I have also done sales for 8 years prior to being in the medical admin/reception role.

It is my goal to provide superior customer service. I would like to be able to grow with a company that has an outstanding record of success. I am reliable, eager to learn new things, and punctual.


•	Greeting patients and visitors face to face and on the telephone. 
•	Scheduling initial and follow up appointments for patients. 
•	Full Patient Registration, Verification of insurance, obtaining precertification requirements for services, patient estimation of services.
•	Collection of co-pay, deductibles, and coinsurance as required.
•	Operating busy phone lines, transferring calls to appropriate departments.
•	Scheduling Independent Medical Evaluations, Fitness for Duty Evaluations, FAA Substance Abuse Evaluations, Competency Evaluations and Child Protective Service Psychiatric Evaluations, and telephonic testimonies.
•	Working closely with physicians, attorneys, judges, and case managers for legal appointments (i.e. IME’s and FFD’s).
•	Writing correspondence letters and e mails to patients, vendors, and other outside services.
•	Call in prescriptions to pharmacies, and return patient calls for physician triage.
•	 Maintaining file room, sending and receiving patient information/records following HIPPA guidelines and regulations. 
•	Scanning patient files into office database.
•	Distributing faxes/mail to appropriate departments. 
•	Pulled and prepped patient charts for upcoming appointments.
•	Maintaining supply room, ordering supplies when necessary.
•	Entering charges for services, procedure codes, and diagnosis codes for electronic billing. 
•	Closing out batch reports and daily deposit totals.

Front Office Lead

•	Traveled from offices at Legacy Good Samaritan Hospital and Legacy Emanuel Hospital for specified job duties.
•	Converted paper chart into electronic medical records, 
•	Pulled and prepped patient charts for upcoming appointments.
•	Collection of co-pay, deductibles, and coinsurance as required.

Medical Records Clerk

•	I traveled around the country to home & garden shows, craft shows, and holiday bazaar’s demonstrating and selling products such as gardening supplies, household products, and children’s toys. These products were new to the market and not sold in stores.
•	Setting up booths and displays of several different products.
•	Speaking to large groups of people demonstrating products to crowds ranging from 10 – 50 people at a time.
•	Collecting monies for products sold.
•	Closing out register for each days sales. Adding totals and comparing to inventory for product/sales journal that was turned in to the business owner at the end of each day.
