I have more than five years of experience with design. I'm currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Graphic Design at Colorado State University. I plan to graduate this December.

I love the "art" of graphic design and its endless possibilities. At CSU I've participated in 3 exhibitions. I've also had 3 separate graphic design internships and worked freelance and as an RA. I am also a Students in Design (SID) officer. SID is the CSU chapter of AIGA.

Recently I took part in a huge fundraising event, the Ram Good Time Auction, for my internship at CSU's Events & Constituent Engagements office. My hard work and efforts as the head graphic designer attributed to a hugely successful event that raised over $300,000 for athletic scholarships.

I'm also interning at the non-profit company National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI). NAMI educates all people about severe and persistent mental illnesses to eliminate stigma and promote access to integrated systems of care, education, and rehabilitation. At NAMI I help the company gain outreach using graphic design and social media as my platform.

My third internship at the CSU Bookstore gives me an opportunity to experience a professional business and marketing environment in all aspects. I get to participate and take on the challenges of the marketing world mixed with the art world.

I'm well-versed in the Adobe Creative Suite including Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign.  I understand coding in CSS, HTML, and JavaScript. I'm also familiar with basic animation, rotoscoping, and video editing.

My successes come from being extraordinarily detailed oriented. The ability to work well with others, the consideration for meeting deadlines all speak volumes about who I am as a professional. After graduation, my goal is to work for a company wherein I can made a tremendous impact- internally and externally. I want the success of the company to be reflective of my hard work, dedication, commitment and work ethic.

NAMI Colorado Springs is a non-profit company where I update the graphics and designs for print and web. I work with the NAMI design standards to make sure the Colorado Springs center is up to date and using the official brand. My goal is to grow NAMI Colorado Springs by creating interest with design.

Graphic Design Intern

At CSU Events I work as part of a team to design invitations, posters, social media banners and icons, postcards, videos, t-shirt graphics, and other materials for alumni and student events on campus.

Graphic Designer for CSU Events and Donor Relations

This position relies heavily on my graphic design experience creating posters, banners, labels, and other materials. This position also involves creating and tracking coupons, planning and organizing events, social media, and collaborating with managers in the store.

Marketing Intern for CSU Bookstore

Work with students to create a healthy environment for their first year at college. 
While I was an RA I helped start the Arts and Creative Expressions (ACE) community. It's a learning and living community for first year students at CSU. I made the program work for wider community outreach of the arts. The community also created the Graffiti Garden on campus, worked with outreach to Elementary School students and the Larimer County Food Bank.
