It is my career goal to continually develop my skill set and grow as an individual as I develop and
grow other businesses in the following ways: client acquisition, marketing strategies, sponsorships
and corporate partnerships.
I consistently exceed Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) and derive my success based on results, not
effort. This is achieved through my strategic initiatives of networking and partnering with
appropriate channels and people. I am productive in qualifying prospective clients to ensure time is
not wasted on unsuitable clients. I also know how and when is the best time to close a sale.
As a natural leader, I am confident in my approach and instil passion in others. When presented
with a problem, I am creative in my find a solution. I am dedicated to a cause through honest hard
work to guarantee success in my career and life overall.

After seeing a need in the market in late 2012, I started a new business from conception that sold
only interactive projectors and led it through its infancy stage. Since then, we have:
• Converted into a company that sells interactive audio-visual (AV) solutions
• An office on St Kilda Road, Melbourne
• 5 employees
• >10 contractors and
• Achieved revenue of over $350K.
Some of our major projects include the complete audio-visual fit-out at the Essendon Football Club
and schools across Melbourne.
Before the business was able to warrant having any employees, I was responsible for all facets of
the business, including: marketing, sales, finance, purchasing, project management etc. I negotiated
2 way contracts (services from both parties) with large companies to secure a win-win deal for
both organisations.
I also demonstrated the product of interactive video analysis, to small and large sporting
organisations of up to 400 people. The presentations conveyed my passion for the product and

In my first year as a dedicated BDM, I was the only sales person out of a team of 10 to reach their
quota for the calendar year. In fact, I was 125% year-to-date before the end of the 3rd quarter.
This was achieved through strategic lead generation and a great mentor.
I continually met with C-level executives to gain an understanding of their business needs and then
provided a solution accordingly. I now excel in the following skills:
• Lead generation through partnering and networking
• Qualifying prospects (Business needs, application, budget, timeline, decision maker,
buying criteria, personal win, competition etc.)
• Presenting proposals
• Closing the sale

Business Development Manager

Leading a small team of Service Account Managers, I was responsible for new business with both
new and existing clients in the ICT industry (in particular, Video conferencing). In addition, we
provided the service and support for existing customers with the sales of recurring revenue, such as:
managed services and maintenance support.
I developed extensive experience in CRM, quoting, proposals and Scopes of Work. Other
responsibilities include: Client on boarding, Account Reviews, training, contract administration, being
multi vendor certified and coordinating with all departments of the business (Sales & Marketing,
Finance, Integration, Technical support etc). Our quota was divided into: recurring revenue worth
$2.6 million, and new business worth $160K in margin. We were above 100% for both aspects of
our quota.

Service Account Manager

Responsible for organising, designing and tailoring client’s audio and visual requirements for
corporate and private events. This entails liaising with clients and managing expectations,
scheduling and managing staff both onsite and at the office, surveying and overseeing site
operations. I am also familiar with coordinating contractors in the industry.
I was responsible for making up part of the 15% average increase in sales for each month, when
compared to the previous year.

Audio Visual Account Manager / Technician

January 2007 – December 2008: Part time store manager. This included: managing the operations
of the store, delegation of tasks and achieving sales targets.
2006: Responsible for creating the Eltham Home Hardware website with assistance from other
peers.
Timber Yard and Hardware Store; organising orders, assisting customers, sorting materials, cash
register operation and answering phones.
