Digital Director for Orange Coast Magazine (orangecoast.com), where I lead digital strategy covering editorial content, digital marketing, and business revenue.

Create and execute strategy across all digital properties for a $2.4 billion global company of 100,000 employees. Responsible for leadership across multiple channels including social media, website, internal & external communications, paid digital campaigns, brand stewardship.
Leadership of digital team and cross-­functional teams; built corporate social media department and manage social media teams in 146 markets. Includes hiring, training, ongoing development of corporate team of 5; regional and local teams of 3-5 people ea.
All website development, including internal and external websites, from start to finish: concepting, business requirements, RFP process and vendor selection, development, project management, QA, release, communications, and ongoing monitoring, maintenance, and content and feature management. Cross­-functional business objectives targeting new customer acquisition, retention, and growth as well as recruiting and new employee acquisition, retention, and growth.

Building digital strategy plans that include website design and development, writing, editing, and producing content, and social media and community building. Clients are national, regional, and local companies and publications in a variety of subject areas.

Partner/officer of startup company building destination websites, mobile apps, and communities. Develop and implement editorial direction, tone, look and feel for EndlessBeauty.com, a women's lifestyle site dedicated to a fresh look at beauty (since shuttered). 

Plan, craft, research, create, write, assign, and edit all content on site, including written and interactive content: service pieces, product reviews, news briefs, the blog, videos, slideshows/photo galleries, contests, giveaways, polls, and social media packages. Facilitate business development and strategic partnerships; project managed website redesign; track and utilize analytics to inform content decisions; manage team, hiring, and training.

Head of not-for-profit business unit that developed, launched, and operated www.austinpost.org. Wrote 2-5 articles daily and edited 5-10 articles daily from a team of 125+ writers. Created and managed SEO strategy and analytics initiatives. Developed social media and direct marketing campaigns, as well as created and managed partnerships and partner relations.
