Combines proficient technical and editorial skills and a proven eye for detail with a flair for creativity, design, and adventure. I’m also pretty tall, so hard-to-reach cupboards are generally no problem for me.


I maintain the operational workflow of a rapidly expanding online marketplace, working to improve efficiency through process improvement. I also providing real-time customer support and create best-practice solutions to be implemented company-wide.

Have you ever wanted to leave everything behind and just...go? In July of 2013 I did just that, leaving my job at Groupon and flying to northern Alaska with my bike, camping gear, and the intention to ride as far south as I could. I ended up in Chile more than a year later, flying to Easter Island to cap off the trip of a lifetime. Then, I took another leap of faith by moving straight to New York City. I'm currently in the process of putting together a short film about my trip, as well as a photo book.

Adventure Cyclist

My responsibilities as a Site Editor involved serving as a liaison between the editorial staff and account managers, sales reps, customer service reps, the dev team, and others across the company. I worked to find and create solutions to nuanced editorial issues that balanced the interests of Groupon, its merchant-clients, and its customers. My job was to act as a vital link between the client-facing teams and the internal editorial and marketing staff. I served as the final backstop for all editorial requests, handling and resolving both internal and customer-facing last-minute and live edit requests for every North American market. I spent most of my time as a member of the "National Deals" team, where I worked to support and resolve editorial issues for the most visible and heavily trafficked client pages on the website.
