Responsible for all the day-to-day accounting, human resource and treasury functions for a privately held marketing agency and manufacturing company.
•	Strengthen all internal controls and implemented key performance indicators for month end closing protocols, reporting and budgeting, which did not exist.
•	Secured more than $1M for capital expenditures over my tenure
•	Implemented and maintained cross platform software for Finance and Operations.

•	Oversee the Board of Equalization and Sales Tax regulations to ensure compliance. Prepared documentation for 3 audits and worked with auditor to review information and passed audits.

•	Processed bi-weekly payroll through outside payroll service which included time card review, payroll changes, resolved discrepancies and reconciled and entered payroll entry.
•	Developed and implemented compensation structures for all departments, which did not exist.
•	Directed and maintained monthly job-cost/profit analysis to formulate the best treatment of cost accounting policies and procedures which improved gross margin overall 5 percent
•	Created Performa budgets and forecast for key performance indicators

Responsible for all the day-to-day accounting, human resource and treasury functions for a privately held start-up software company.  Coordinated and completed the R&D research credit support for fiscal year end audit. Serves as legal representative for Stock Option plan. Created budget and forecast analysis for each department to streamline process and performance.

Responsibilities for overseeing financial statements and ledger balance’s along with processing transactions for the department in a privately held organization.
•	Assisted Controller with responsibilities and affairs of the finance department.
•	Managed month end and year end closings, account reconciliations, cost allocation, inventory management, journal entries, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Payroll
•	Prepared commission statements and sales reports for sales team on a weekly basis
•	Reviewed and collected Accounts Receivable with a days sales outstanding average of 35 days
•	Directed the physical inventory count and reconciliation quarterly with internal and external audits
•	Coordinated, implemented and trained the conversion from MAS90 to Great Plains Software saving the organization $150K

Accounting Manager

Duties included overseeing all day-to-day accounting operations and the implementation of a new integrated software package.
•	Assisted Controller with month end closing, account analysis and reconciliations along with financial reporting
•	Scheduled and performed monthly physical inventory resulting in a new policy and procedure.
•	Set up and installed new Server for new Hagen Software.
•	Coordinated and implemented the conversion from Deluxe printing software to Hagen Printing Software
•	Trained over 100 employees on the new software saving the organization over $200K in consulting fee’s
