As Sr. User Experience and Interactive Designer, I support several full life cycle digital product development teams, everything from new product ideation and development all the way to code build, deployment and optimization for Cox Automotive, Manheim, Ready Logistics, Central Dispatch, DealerTrack and MoveCars.com.

I am responsible for owning the full UX process; product strategy, user research, information architecture, application concepts (prototyping), and visual design. I work to identify and translate user needs into digital products and applications. I help drive the evolution of User Experience for Cox Automotive through education, advocacy, and thought leadership. • Partner closely with sales, product and producers to ideate, visualize, and validate solutions that meet our OEM clients’ goals.

•	Collaborate with development team during Agile Café sprints to review initial release deliverables including sitemaps, UI components and provide recommendations for enhancements. 
•	Conduct user research studies in an Agile Café based timeline under aggressive deadlines while planning for all aspects of the deployment process.
•	Effectively communicate findings and insights from research studies to stakeholders sharing actionable recommendations to enhance features and content flow within the iterations.

Information design is an emerging discipline that blurs the boundaries between corporate initiatives and goals, user-centered visual and user interface [UI] design, human factors [HFE], computer-human interactions [CHI], information architecture, usability, and cognitive psychology.

 In my role as Principal Information Designer I work with Business Intelligence and the Executive Staff defining, designing and presenting monthly, quarterly and annual reports, for online, print and visual display. Principal Information Designer

Headed up the User Experience department at CWIE [CCBill.com], as Principal User Experience (UE) overseeing an expert UI design and development team in Malta.  

I was responsible for the complete User Experience of customer-facing digital touch points. Liaising with key stakeholders globally, I worked closely with Product Managers, Business Development Director and Sales divisions to coordinate and manage UE/UI initiatives and standards. 

Managed US and international teams of UE/UI design and development teams to define and deliver a best-in-class user experience for CCBill, ECSuite and CDN products.  I provided thought leadership and quality creative direction for UE/IX guidelines and interactive projects.

Principal UX/UE Designer

As Sr. Information Architect and UE Designer I worked with colleges and external vendors to design meaningful interactive experiences. This role required strategic thinking, UE team leadership, and communication with all members of the project team.

I exposed University of Phoenix to innovative search technology, web 2.0 paradigms and analytic-based methodologies to transform the corporation’s linear thinking into a multi-dimensional, satisfying end-user experience.

Ten years of experience with UE/IX activities and deliverables gave me the tools to increase value to the student consumer to include transactional and corporate web initiatives. Increasing the conversion rate of www.phoenix.edu by 37% in a single phase of iterative design was a key success.

Conducted user, stakeholder and competitive research, drove persona designs and scenarios resulting in conceptual concepts, annotated wireframes, interactive models, prototypes and functional specifications.

Directed strategy and tactics for all Small Business Web Marketing activities. Devised, developed, implemented and analyzed campaigns to drive traffic to Equine.com, including banner ads, SEM, and email marketing. Directed – from authoring IT requirements through testing and final approval – creation and deployment of site content, including landing pages, promotional banners, customer images, and copy. 

Collaborated across eBusiness team to optimize online content and functionality for navigation, order flow, look and feel, and SEO. Directed teams of designers, developers, writers, agencies and other vendors. Compiled, analyzed and distributed relevant metrics using Google Analytics and others.

Established user experience team, including interaction designers and user experience researchers. Responsible for driving user experience improvements for Toyota, Sega, Amazon web properties including Atlantic Records.com, ToysRUs.com, JetBlue.com and others. Introduced and implemented a user centered design process incorporating both quantitative and qualitative user experience research, including usability testing, A/B testing, site analytics and user surveys.
