13 years of experience as a product and transportation designer. Performed full-time and freelance work. worked at General Motors, Fisker and Boombang Product Design in Los Angeles. Designed vehicle exteriors, components, audio equipment, athlete protective devices, point of sales displays and medical products.


Provide instruction on perspective drawing, using line weights, sketching for ideation, creating orthographic views, creating perspective view drawings, adding value, creating contrast, methods of research, storytelling and presentation methodologies

Performed general tasks required of a product designer. Researched, sketched, produced product presentations, engaged in evolution of iteration, created digital models using Solidworks and rendered these models using Bunkspeed. Also used Photoshop extensively for the development of presentation renderings. Created SLA printed prototypes as presentation and study models. Engaged with the design team daily to ensure effective execution of work.
Designed Headphones, point of sale displays, medical equipment and athlete protective devices.

Freelance Product Designer

Created exploded view drawings from engineering supplied digital files for use in the assembly and manufacture of Fiskers automobile products. These drawings were critical to the proper and expedient assembly of these vehicles. Instrumental in gaining insight into the manufacturing process of products.

Illustrator

As a vehicle exterior designer, worked in multiple divisions on vehicle exterior theme development, concept development and component design and development. Worked with suppliers and engineering teams from Hella and Sylvania for vehicle lighting component development. Worked with engineers from Thule for roof rack products and wheel suppliers from China. Engaged with GM internal engineering teams to preserve design intent and appearance. Worked with modeling staff to create 1/3 and full scale models of vehicles and related components. Created numerous sketches and renderings by using Photoshop and Alias. Attended planning to work with teams at Opel in Germany and advanced design leaders in the UK.
