Senior Graphic Designer / Project Manager

Combining 12 years of experience in the Digital World with a Natural Artistic Talent has enabled me to excel in this field. I strive to maintain a balance between Artistic and Professional Vision, and keep an open mind when diving into the Creative Process. This has proven to yield the most desirable results.
 
My specialty is Food Industry Package Design and Brand Architecture Creation including, but not limited to: Flexible Packaging, Pre-Press, Logos, POS, and Advertising Material. 
 
I have a keen understanding of Digital Photography and over a decade of experience in this field as well.  The beauty of this knowledge is unlimited, and I have discovered that which cannot be accomplished in the Studio can be achieved on the screen.
 
My grasp and comprehension of the Adobe Family of Programs enables my Employer, Clients and Myself to reach our goals.

Duties currently include complete and sole responsibility for all design projects from concept to product launch including brainstorming with management, rough sketches and digital presentations, inner-wrap, sell-unit, and master shipper package design for each SKU.  I am the sole liaison between each Dept. and hold the Dept. heads accountable during the entire process. Expert knowledge of FDA and USDA graphic/NLEA requirements, creation of all POS material, CMS for website updates or changes, barcode creation and GS1 online UPC and GTIN creation and management.  Currently work with Offset, Flexo and Digital printers and attend press checks for new product roll-outs.  Creation of all product specification sheets, maintenance and distribution to the sales force for new business presentations originate on my computer, as well as Powerpoint presentations utilized by our sales force. Duties initially included maintaining and managing the product development spreadsheet and process, project list and accountability/sign-offs, and weekly meetings.  Immediately procured responsibility of graphic design from the out-sourced agencies and brought design in-house.  Created and maintained over 300 FDA regulated SKUs on a Mac platform utilizing Illustrator and all Adobe Creative Suite programs.   Took charge of conducting photography in-house for the POS material and packaging. Handled all digital post production work for photography.  Packaging created was flexible package design including roll-stock film, doyen/gusset, and formed pouches, corrugate and chip board shippers/displays, pressure sensitive labels and all POS material.  Worked side-by side with the web design firm and created graphic elements such as page attributes, button roll-overs and images with backgrounds removed.
