Freelance Graphic Designer / Printer

With an Associates Degree in Arts and a Bachelors Degree in Advertising I have accumulated different understandings of the industry from an educational level. Other than the education, I also have plenty of experience in the industry from a working standpoint. I worked with print shops, ran others machines, clients designs and my own freelancing work. 

The technology is constantly changing as well as the industry to some degree. Working with graphic design programs since my freshman year in High School and have not stopped giving myself continuing knowledge of the programs I am able to catch on quickly with new machines and environments. 

While working in many different industries my passion and skill set continue to bring me into the print and design industry. I am now going back to school for graphic design classes to continue to expand my knowledge of the programs currently used in the graphic design and production industry.

Experience: Proficient in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator (using programs since 2001), Production experience with large format printing machines, plotters, laminators etc. Worked with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook), Previous experience with Adobe After Effects and Final Cut Pro filming and editing.

Work with clients and other companies/ people on designs and production for print media: decals, vehicle wraps, large banners, business cards, hats, t-shirts etc. Also, run and maintain printers, laminators and other production equipment.

While working in other industries I had my own business where I provided graphic design and print services such as: decals, vehicle wraps, large banners, business cards, hats, t-shirts etc. The offset printing was out sourced and all other large format work was in house. This gave me another perspective of the industry other than being employed at a shop.
