As an outdoor enthusiast and a family man, my professional and personal lives are intertwined. I am driven by work that allows for time and thought devoted to high performance products and outdoor activities. I want to enjoy what I do as a profession in promoting an energetic outdoor lifestyle with my family. 
For close to 20 years, I have worked for outstanding and world-renowned companies in the outdoor industry and strive to continue this relationship.

Direct all aspects of Advertising and Marketing for Nordic Valley Ski Resort and Pine Canyon condominiums.

Events & PR Manager

Develop Budget for print advertising for two main divisions of Petzl: Sport & Professional.
Develop, design, and produce 5  market-specific brochures for divisions: Headlamp, Tactical, Tree Care, Fire Rescue, and Tower & Rope Access
Produce Creative Brief to obtain designs and bids, assist in design, and build for 4 Trade Show booths which span over 15 years - these booths were used (are still in use) for (not limited to) the following Trade Shows: Outdoor Retailer, Banff Mountain Film Festival (and World Tour),Ouray Ice Festival, FDIC, SHOT Show, ISA, TCI, NATE
Design, produce, and implement several Merchandising Items and Displays for use in Retail shops including: Interactive touch-screen video display unit, Silent Salesmen displays, End-cap and Top informative graphics and displays, and stand-alone product displays with information cards and stocking retail items
Design and produce 11 separate dealer and retail price lists bi-annually
Manage and collaborate with graphic design team and oversee all print ads for all divisions and departments
Collaborate with Communications Manager to ensure continuity of brand image and voice via social media channels
Senior member and advisor of Technical Training Team to assist all employees with increasing their knowledge and hands-on experience with Petzl products

Marketing Production Manager

Assist with Marketing and Advertising campaigns to design innovative ads to penetrate markets and build the Petzl brand
Work closely with Petzl America’s PR firm to help build product sales and brand awareness for all Divisions (headlamp, sport, rescue & rope access)
Work with a broad range of magazine publishers to provide product samples for features or reviews 
Outdoor Retailer and Fly Fishing Retailer trade shows support; booth setup/take down, merchandising, support for Sales representatives
Assist division managers with sponsored athletes and placing equipment orders for said athletes

Solely Responsible for maintaining, informing, and educating 23 Outdoor Retail companies in Mexico, Puerto Rico, Dominican Republic, Central and South America about Petzl products.

79 % INCREASE over 1st quarter 2000 sales goal for INTL territory (outside of Mexico)
Opened 9 new dealers accounting for 62 % percent increase for INTL Territory

International Manager, Customer Sales & Service

Account Executive for all Sport and Professional accounts in the SouthEast and NorthEast Territories
Assisted Logistics Department with inspecting and tagging all incoming shipments of Petzl products

Assist Logistics Manager to source medical equipment and work with bag manufacturers for production of medical hip bags.
Visited and called ski and outdoor retail stores to market, display, and sell products.

Sales Manager

Managed Camping, Ski, and Bike Department employees to insure a memorable and satisfactory shopping experience.
Worked with store management to adequately staff each sales department, bike and ski shop to maintain departmental coverage, reduce shoplifting, and work within payroll budgets.
Train staff and increase product knowledge within each department creating "in-house experts" of staff, allowing them to take pride and gain satisfaction with the employment
Stock shelves and maintain pleasing, clean, and organized departments

Camp, Ski, and Bike Department Head

Managed and trained teams of up to 12 employees to maintain store appearance and excellent customer service
Responsible for all monetary duties - opening/closing, cash drawer reconciliation, money drop, etc.
Created appealing window, end-cap, and attractive counter displays to encourage traffic and impulse purchases
Organized special monthly music events with local Music Label reps and Radio Stations to encourage higher volumes of traffic through the store
