Sale Coordinator

After spending nearly a year as the Events and Marketing Specialist for the Better Business Bureau of Southern Colorado, I have finally made the move to Denver. The BBB has given me great experience in event planning, community outreach and marketing for the Southern Colorado Region. After my experience as the Conference Planning with VPP Participants Association in Falls Church, VA and my position at the BBB, I am excited for the next chapter and career in Denver, Colorado. In addition, I have over 8 years of volunteer experience with a variety of organizations, including the creation of a benefits concert and an outreach group to the homeless, my experience with volunteer work, community outreach, software skills, marketing, event planning, community development, health care and education give me diverse skills, knowledge and experience to offer your company.

Description: Responsible for the sales order entry process, including the management of client orders for order entry through invoicing.  Coordinates project timelines and status reports to assist in a team environment. Delivers consistent and constant vendor communications to provide timely and accurate project updates, both internal and external. 

Role and Responsibilities: 
•	Assist Sales Exec with the preparation of project proposals.
•	Review and proof order for basic information accuracy and completeness using ELEMENTS order checklist. 
•	Enters orders into business system, submits Purchase Orders to Sub Contractors for labor and to Vendors for product.
•	Interface with factories on order status, current lead times, reservation of manufacturing for pending orders and special requirements. 
•	Understand or seek to understand our business systems and vendor electronic interactions and all of their functions. 
•	Follow internal and vender process and procedures to maintain the best

Events:
•	Plan and coordinate all aspects of BBB events which include but doesn’t exclude; Annual Gala, Letter Rip, Golf Tournament, Volunteer Appreciation, Member appreciation, Educational Seminars, Small Business Week, Small Business Expo, Benefits 101, Monthly Networking Events, ATHENA Awards, Ribbon Cuttings, etc. 
•	Attending site visits and any additional needs for planning events 
•	Developing marketing materials: Flyers, brochures, invitations, eBlast, Commercials, Radio Spots, Radio Interviews, etc.
•	Back up for processing payments and credit cards for events 
•	Collaborate with organizations (SBDC/CSRBA) on events numerous events
•	Events vary in size from 25 attendees to 800 attendees

Marketing
•	Assist Director of Marketing and Events with marketing materials development, orders, brochures, invitations, ect.
•	Coordinate updates for website such as event schedule, locations, new notifications
•	Update social media platforms such as facebook and twitter when applicable

Events and Marketing Specialist

•	Worked Remotely in Colorado Springs for the summer. 
•	Offered promotion to Membership Manager within 6 months.
•	Planned National Conference for 3,000 + members, including Health & Safety Professionals, OSHA, DOE, DOD and all branches of the military. 
•	Coordinated and Managed Exhibit hall with 300+ exhibit booths, price area, food and beverage & Exhibitor Lounge.
•	Managed all sponsorships, raising over $150,000 with traditional and new creative sponsorships.
•	Marketed National Conference through Website, E-mail Blasts, Mailings, Press Releases, Social Media and Video Blasts.
•	Work closely with the Board of Directors on various decision making. 
•	Coordinating a wide range of services for meeting and workshops, including Audio Visual requirements, food and beverage requests, conference room set-ups, signage, distribution of materials, etc.
•	Participated in government outreach on Capitol Hill, meeting with U.S. Senators.

Conference & Education Coordinator

•	Maintains supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed supplies; placing and expediting orders for supplies; verifying receipt of supplies.
•	Responsible for the reception of the office; answering phones, filing, ordering supplies, incoming and outgoing mail and packages
•	Provide word processing support for general correspondence, government forms and various reports.
•	Coordinate and schedule meetings and travel.
•	Worked closely with City of Tempe, Phoenix and Mesa to submit architecture proposals and drawings.

Administrative Assistant

Benefit Concert to support Mesa, Public School Athletics.

•	Founded and created Making Marks on Hearts to support local high school athletics. 
•	Managed all sponsorships and marketing through press releases, social media, eblasts and personally created website. 
•	Donated over $2000.00 and raised awareness for the high school athletics.
•	Guest Speakers: Michael Scozzaro (4 time Kidney transplant Survivor) and Anthony Robles (2010 NCAA ASU Wresting Campion and ESPY winner of the Jimmy V Award).
•	Three Professional Dance Crews: Elektrolytes (currently on America’s Best Dance Crew), Lipstik Dance Crew, and AK Squared (Winners of Disney Dance Competition, Making Marks). .
•	Worked closely with Mesa Public Schools high schools, principles, students, parents and athletic directors.
