Élan Saltman MBA at San Diego State University BA Envs/Econ at UC Santa Cruz firstname.lastname@example.org (760) 525 2866 Businesses are beginning to make the shift towards sustainable practices. As my contribution, I will continuously work with environmentally conscious companies who are dedicated to conserving resources and protecting the needs of future generations. I have been fortunate to work for clean tech start-up companies in San Diego. Companies such as Helix Wind, Assure Controls, ecoATM Inc., and Malama Composites. These are companies that have shown thought leadership and commitment to the need for sustainable practices. I have experience in Marketing from research to customer retention. Designing ways to analyze data and present the information clean and effective is an art I'm proud of. For ecoATM I performed duties such as ensuring business licenses were up to date and placed on each kiosk, ran weekly competitor analysis, and generated reports on growth and goals to be viewed by executives. In a short time, I watched ecoATM go from 10 people to 200 and get publicly acquired by OuterWall; an amazing experience that showed me how thought leaders of San Diego can grow a private entity into an engine for national good. With my father I work with Malama Composite Inc, to progress the business of ‘Green’ foam, applying my talents to help introduce safe bio-products to the foam industry. These materials can replace the insulation in housing and roofing, packaging and sculpting. Check out what Malama is currently doing at www.malamacomposites.com My Bachelors is in Environmental Studies/Economics and my Masters in Business was focused on entrepreneurship. Both are tools that now help guide my business decisions and life path. Our time on this earth is a gift worth preserving for generations to come, and I intend to be part of organizations that embody this ethic. The highest quality work is shown when you care for the cause.
