Administrative Assistant

I'm a passionate individual capable of working quickly and being very adaptable. I'm not afraid to go outside the bounds of the job description to accomplish what needs be done for the betterment of the task or company or brand as a whole. I'm not afraid of going the extra mile and believe that the customer is the focal point of all business, so as such, they are the drivers of everything I do. It is my task to inform them not only about the products I may represent, but ensure that they leave not only with what they want, but what they actually need for their own goals.

Assist Office Management with Investor payments, recordkeeping, website updates, facilitate meetings and scheduling for multiple members of office staff. Provide customer service to potential investors, site selectors, existing investors. Maintain detailed records of investor onboarding process. Assist Director of Membership with all activities related to preparing for meetings to bring new members into the organization.

As an ESL teacher I implemented a steady curriculum of various projects, worksheets, games, and tests based upon several textbook series. Where there was no materials ready for use in the classroom, I created everything needed in order to facilitate a successful class. Many of the materials for the classroom was unorganized and failed to coordinate with textbook concepts, so in such cases I also created entirely brand new content for those areas.
   As I was employed by a private school, primary host to after-school English leaners of elementary age, I also grew and maintained a positive and engaging relationship with each of my students and, when possible, parents.

ESL Teacher

Helped setup brand new Fashion Place Mall location in SLC, Utah. Went through a thorough training process and maintained product knowledge and expertise through in-store training, online (threepointfive.com), and by using in-store equipment loans to test gear in the real world. Consistently met sales goals set by managers, maintained great service to potential customers looking to get outdoors, and ensured all store policies and guidelines were upheld, especially regarding loss prevention.

Sales Associate

Assisted in store setup and opening as well as extensive training on a wide array of products offered at the store. Trained initially in receiving department and moved to sales floor due to my exceedingly good customer service. Responsible for maintaining relationships with multiple return customers as well as building new relationships with customers new to the brand. Upheld high standards of service to ensure that all customers were welcomed and helped with anything they needed.

Executed daily operations of Sandy location during Christmas holiday season and maintained contact with management at Downtown location in order to keep inventory regulated.
Instrumental in setup, organization, and operation of Sandy location.
Answered questions with detailed answers regarding the store and its merchandise.
Assisted in the setup and take down of conventions and home shows at the Salt Palace Convention Center and the South Towne Expo Center and operated a booth for Modern Display during show hours.

Assistant Manager/Sales

Ellipsis: Literature and Art
Edit, rewrite, and proofread all prose for Westminster College's student-produced yearly publication.
Served on staff during 2007-2008 school year before being promoted to Prose Editor position.
Read and evaluated over 2500 prose and poetry submissions per year for consideration.
Organized materials and planned page layouts for final prose selections while working closely with other editors, staff, and the faculty advisor.
Responded to written and telephone requests by authors for general information regarding the publication.

Prose Editor

Quality Assurance and head of Shrink Film Department.
Maintain and operate ABG Digicon, Rotoflex Rewinder, Omega Upright Rewinder, Tabletop Equipment, Shrink Sleeve Assembly Equipment, and assist with other press operations as needed. 
Responsible for proper QA procedures regarding the entire department to ensure that all quality meets or exceeds customer expectations.
Daily communication and human relations with production management, customer service representatives, and customers to ensure that finished products meet with all company quality procedures.
Maintain records of previous jobs, keeping data separate and secure. 
Trained several employees in the operation and maintenance of Rotoflex Rewinder, ABG Digicon, and Shrink Sleeve Assembly Equipment.

QA Supervisor

Worked one-on-one with students that came to the Writing Center for assistance with a wide variety of papers and subjects.
Provided direction and assistance to students of the college, many of them being foreign English as Second Language students.
Problem solved through complex grammatical, rhetorical, and structural issues regarding students' papers while maintaining a positive attitude, directive teaching standards, and keeping within the established requirements of each assignment.
Maintained complete records of consultations using Microsoft Access software.
Attended meetings, educational conferences, and tutor training workshops to maintain and improve professional competence.
