I aim to work in the outdoor industry in some capacity. My overall goal is to work for an outdoor company that I truly believe in. I would also like to help coordinate outdoor events, such as whitewater kayaking and rafting races. Some duties related to this could include attaining sponsors, marketing for the events, and raising funds to help support these events.

Helped prepare vegetables and other foods for the cooks, customer service, prepared to-go orders for customers, and washed dishes

I helped lead several groups of high school-aged teenagers on sea kayaking trips on the Outer Banks of North Carolina. I assisted in training and preparing these young adults for a 5-day expedition on the Outer Banks. My duties included; rescue training, sea kayaking skills work shops, cooking and preparing meals, equipment checks, and other various activities related to sea kayaking.
