Marketing Intern

I am a senior at California State University with have the availability to work full-time. I will be receiving my Bachlor's Degree of Arts in Communications (Public Relations) this May. I am looking for full-time positions in Public Relations or Marketing.

Main focus is to assist in marketing campaigns related to the bus and train systems. This includes helping to update social media sites, analyzing differences in profits, creating public service announcements, updating partner contracts, filling in as needed in the OCTA bus pass store, helping to create marketing plans, assisting the Outreach Team by working various events, and discussing ways to increase ridership. Also helped to test the company mobile website when it became live.

Role to assist the Marketplace team by pulling reports on impressions, clicks, requests, click through rate, and fill rate.  Then made optimizations on these metrics in order to monetize client advertisements.

Account Manager Intern

Spring 2012, responsibilities include leading a small group of tutors at Eisenhower Elementary school in Garden Grove, while also teaching five students.  Spring 2013, responsibilities include tutoring seven fourth graders at once.  The position also includes work as a private tutor to Elementary School, Middle School, and High School students, taking notes on each tutoring session, making phone calls to parents, and keeping student files up to date.  Also worked as an office assistant putting together folders that holds all student curriculum as well as further information for tutors and parents when tutoring is not happening.

Position focused on coordinating projects within the IT System Configuration management team for this Fortune 500 company.  The main project was to collect information about each application in order to put together a Disaster Relief Plan using Microsoft Project.  Each plan was then tested.  Also helped with the onboarding documentation process and testing the company’s social media site.
