Law Events Coordinator

Coordinate all complex logistical event components, including travel arrangements, scheduling venues, catering, A/V and rentals both on and off campus.
Prepare, monitor and maintain event budgets by developing and implementing cost control methods.

Special Events and Competitions Assistant

Assisted in the production, promotion and operation of all annual fundraising events, including American Celebration, the Economic Forecasts and the Chapman 5K.
Leveraged social media tools to develop and manage an online marketing campaign, effectively engaging users and increasing event awareness and participation.
Successfully pitched companies, vendors and individuals to secure event sponsorships.
Maintained revenue tracking, registration lists, ticket sales and vendor payment processing.
Provided administrative support to the Manager and Director of Special Events.


Special Events Assistant

Assisted in the preparation and execution of two red carpet corporate branding events: Verizon's multi-city launch of the HTC "Incredible" smart phone, and Ubisoft's Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood video game launch event in Los Angeles. 
Directly collaborated with the Creative Director in creating visual drama and costuming for the events and with the Director of Operations in organizing, assembling and distributing gift bags for both clients and celebrity attendees. 
Day-of event responsibilities included venue set up, organizing and directing vendors and talent, checking in media representatives, greeting and guiding clients and generally assisting wherever needed. All events garnered press coverage and satisfied clients.

Marketing and Event Intern

Assisted in day-of wedding coordination functions, including aiding the bridal party, assembling reception sites, greeting and directing guests and interfacing with vendors.

Wedding Assistant

Assisted all members of the office with projects as needed, including creating and distributing weekly safety information and employee packets, maintaining current job folders and plans, faxing and filing documents and organizing invoices.

Administrative Assistant

Planned a week-long series of events culminating in a 20-team basketball tournament in order to raise money for the American Heart Association and market Alpha Phi in a positive, successful manner. The multitude of events required coordination with four venues, several vendors, the Los Angeles Fire Department, various councils within the city of Los Angeles, The University of Southern California and the USC Panhellenic Council. 
An estimated 400 people attended the tournament alone, and that year was the first time the event turned a profit since its inception.

Director of Spring Philanthropy

Gathered press clippings, interacted with media, worked events such as ART LA and The National Kidney Foundation’s World Kidney Day.
Pitched local, regional, and national media, confirmed and researched media contacts, built press lists and researched potential clients.

Public Relations Intern

Designed, ordered and distributed all accessories and apparel, totaling 30-40 designs.
Researched current fashion trends to ensure the designs would be popular and on-trend.
Created product for men and women.
Collaborated with the Director of Design from our brother fraternity to create a homecoming shirt that would be suitable for both men and women.

Director of Decorations and Design

Prepared and distributed press kits and promotional packages for national magazines in order to garner media coverage for Roxy product and athletes. 
Chose product for editorial photo shoots and oversaw the shipping and return of merchandise loans.
Directly oversaw the implementation of several key promotional product gifting campaigns, such as the targeted gifting of Roxy Teenie Wahine and Roxy Infant product to celebrity moms.

Roxy Public Relations Intern

Secured merchandise exposure and solidified influential relationships by providing individualized service to top tier clients when personally delivering products.
Worked with television producers and wardrobe supervisors, telephoning and emailing them regarding use of merchandise for wide brand visibility.
Assisted in the production of a grand opening store party including greeting guests and aiding with gift bag assembly and distribution.
