Business Travel Sales Manager

To utilize my customer service abilities and grow with a strong company.

Primary responsibility is focused on new business development, maintaining and growing current business climate while increasing market share. 
Deliver the brand expressed in all written and verbal communications through newsletters, gifts, monthly updates to clients, personal visits, receptions, entertainment and networking. 
Provide comprehensive site visits and entertain all prospective customers while developing relationships for future potential accounts.
Liaison between the hotel operations and the client/guest
Direct focus to improve guest satisfaction scores with business clients 
Responsible for implementing a successful marketing strategy for each account by specifically targeting client online booking tools, travel agents, client’s local office or demand generator, and with repeat and in-house guests.
Maximize revenue through various booking channels; develop rate strategies to increase revenue. Prospecting for & soliciting new business. 
Manage all data relevant to each client including specific transient production, along with account information relating to the local market.  Maintain upkeep of a Volume Account Workbook highlighting all account specific activity, negotiating agreements with corporate clients, exceptional in problem solving, decision making. 

Software knowledge: Delphi, Marsha.  Utilize Hotelligence, and additional statistical reports to identify and develop new opportunities for market share through new transient account acquisition and development

Build and Maintain client relationships, work closely with management, project managers. Applying research techniques, account reconciliation, short payments, tax issues, invoice corrections. Meet and exceed monthly A/R targets Meet and exceed critical deal lines on assigned projects and daily work load Credit Focal: responsible for running monthly team credit reports to ensure credits are properly notated. Responsible for logging customer checks received, and enter them into PNC.  I was selected to pilot a new program for the A/R department.
