Community Affairs & Programming Intern, Soccer for Success

•Create and execute community outreach events to increase program participation at the Boys & Girls Club of Wake County.

•Assist with the creation and implementation of Soccer for Success programming activities for 50+ youth participants.


•Coordinated 45+ events with Sponsors, U.S. Army Representatives, Coach/Band Directors, All-American Athletes, and VIP’s.

•Represented sponsors affiliated with the U.S. Army All-American Bowl such as the U.S. Army, Adidas, Gatorade, and NBC Sports. 

•Wrote media releases, implemented social media campaigns, and spoke during presentations, special events, and press conferences.

•Assisted with the implementation of programs, special events, and other activities within the Recreation Center and other campus locations.

•Organized, trained, and supervised 20+ staff members within the Student Recreation Center.

•Enforced all policies of the Recreation Center and ensured 200+ patrons had a safe, positive experience.

•Managed daily financial exchanges of $100+ and filed injury, maintenance, and shift reports.


Building Operations Supervisor

•Worked independently to provide front-line customer service for 300+ residents within Olde Campus Upper Quad residential community.

•Assisted with event planning of community events and created monthly newsletter publications for residents.

•Provided administrative support for the Community Director and Community Manager.
