As part of the MBA program, I led a consulting project for our client, Salomon Snowboards, with the objective to provide clear and applicable action plans that will leverage Salomon’s resources and capabilities with the objective to position them as a major player in France and the US in reviving the maturing snowboard market where participation decline is a threat.

As the Marketing Director for Acropolis, I spearheaded an Intrapreneurial project and conceived a new business model to respond to the critical issue at hand: how to fill up our newly built and acquired Data Centers in a context of increasing fierce competition in the hosting industry in Europe and particularly in France.
 
• Co-founded Adaxia, a SaaS software e-commerce website dedicated to professionals in Europe. 
• Conceived, developed and implemented all aspects of the business plan: marketing and sales strategy, e-commerce website and webmarketing strategy, business development and partnership agreements with both renowned software editors and promising startups.
• Obtained the IP Convergence 2012 Award in “Innovation of the year in terms of Cloud Computing”.

General Manager & Co-Founder

Working upwards from Marketing & Communications Manager, I was promoted Marketing Director.
• Member of the Executive Committee.
• Provide strategic support and guidance to the executive management team.
• Recruit, motivate and lead members of the marketing department.
• Conduct research and analysis on the existing customer base and the company's competitive position in the industry in order to develop a marketing strategy that will maximize the company's revenues and profits.
• Develop the company's brand image and its multi-channel communication campaign in order to reach the specified target segments and the competitive positioning to be achieved.
• Develop and integrate the implementation planning for the company's portfolio of products and services.
• Develop and manage the company's event calendar (from trade shows, to conferences, to company events).
• Develop and launch the company's new website around key objectives: leads generation, user friendly, SEO friendly.

Marketing Director

Working upwards from Marketing Coordinator to Marketing & PR Administrator, I was promoted PR & Marketing Manager. In addition to existing responsibilities:
• Conceived, implemented and managed the company's event and promotions calendar for 12 retail locations, 2 restaurants and the e-store.
• Developed event marketing procedures integrating the company’s diverse departments and implemented measurement tools to assess the return on investment and efforts.
• Report directly to the President and work closely with Creative Director & Designer, and the Wholesale team and restaurant and retail managers.

Single-handedly developed a successful in-house Public Relations service. Core competencies included Press Release copywriting, developing a network of media relations with editors and stylists, product launches, press clips, internal and external communication of our media coverage, production of content for our newly launched blog, maintaining the image library.

SUMMARY

As part of the dual diploma Bachelor's Degree program at Northeastern University in Boston, I realized a 6-month internship in the company of my choice, one that I followed and admired ever since I stepped on a snowboard back in 1998: Burton Snowboards. During the internship, I took it upon myself to write a project proposal entitled "Project Snowdome", which was then presented to the Marketing Director and his team and finally to Burton's CEO, Laurent Potdevin.

Proposal Writer – “Project Snowdome”
• Conceptualized a proposal to form a strategic alliance with Snow Creation International in order to facilitate the creation of a US indoor snow sports industry.
• Presented the project proposal for the Marketing Department and VP Marketing and finally to the CEO of Burton Snowboards.
• June 2008, Burton signed as the title sponsor of The Burton Qiaobo Mellow Park, in Beijing, China, a brand new indoor year-round terrain facility. The first strategic alliance of this kind.
