During my career, I have had the opportunity to build, develop and implement corporate communication / profitability tools and processes between the marketing and sales teams for two national companies.

Director, Channel Strategy

Director, Trade Marketing

•	The role is the key liaison between Rogers Retail Marketing & Fido Marketing to ensure the Fido / Rogers Corporate stores have their fair share of offers, ads & insight as possible in the overall Corporate strategy.
•	Help build the quarterly promotions for Fido Solutions Inc.
•	Build promotions for all Fido Corporate locations nationally.
•	Build promotions for all Rogers Corporate locations in QC.
•	Help build the Fido / Rogers marketing advertising campaign.
•	Grand opening & Grand re-opening events in Fido / Rogers corporate stores
•	Build and maintain relationships with OEMs (Motorola, Samsung, Nokia…)
•	Develop promotional programs to drive traffic in corporate stores, increase sales and maximize the profitability of the channel in line with key performance indicators.

Manager, Fido Marketing (National) & Rogers Marketing (PQ)

•	The Channel Manager is the key liaison between Sales and Marketing and will ensure implementation of the business strategy within each channel.
•	They must develop projects and tools to increase the efficiency and profitability of this channel in order to maximize its growth potential.
•	Stay up-to-date on the buying behaviours and needs of customers who shop in the Corporate Retail channel.
•	Analyze trends in the retail market and identify threats and growth opportunities for the Corporate Retail channel.
•	Manage the Sale Optimization Specialist who is responsible of Mystery Shop (Customer shopping experience measurement program), Sale quarterly road show and sale incentives.
•	Develop a plan and distribution strategies for the Corporate Retail channel.
•	Develop promotional programs to drive traffic in corporate stores, increase sales and maximize the profitability of the channel in line with key performance indicators.

Channel Manager - Corporate stores

•	Manage/coach/direct the field sales force (8 sales reps)
•	Deliver on regional sales targets
•	Manage regional development budget
•	Proactively identify and action regional opportunities through detailed business analysis including field coverage, product offering needs, distribution gaps, promotional requirements, field compensation, training opportunities, etc.
•	Establish and maintain close, cross-functional relationships with key channel partners and TELUS Mobility support groups
•	Track industry and competitive trends to manage their impact on TELUS Mobility’s PCS strategy
•	Act as provincial sprime for Quebec board of directors

Retail Team Manager, Eastern Canada

•	Support 5 national accounts (2 of 5 were in the top 4 accounts in the country)
•	Manage budgets, stocks and merchandising strategically
•	Develop relationships with retail partners
•	Track and analyse sales weekly/monthly/quarterly/annually
•	Target worst performing stores and establish a business building plan to increase their sales
•	Implement promotions and price changes in retail partner stores.
