A communications professional with background in brand, content, and social media strategies looking for a brand to grow in Maine.

As the Community Manager I speak as the voice of Contactually on social media. I interact with users, potential users, and influencers on a daily basis as a product expert. I provide personalized customer interaction and engagement, and integrate team goals including lead generation and thought leadership. In the time that I have been with the company both follower and engagement have increased on all all active channels.

I am currently working to build our product evangelist community through the use of an invitation-only advocate hub. I am growing our market saturation and recognition by building relationships across all platforms (social media, blogs, etc.), finding opportunities for thought leadership, and building a greater Contactually community around the product and its services.

I write content for our social media channels, blog posts, and for parts of the company website. I created a weekly newsletter for the company to keep all employees up-to-date on important dates and 

As a writer I worked on the National Practitioner Data Bank email newsletter, educating the user community on best practices, changes in health care law, and system updates. I wrote and/or edited more than a dozen articles for the newsletter and more than 100 help files for the internal system.

As an editor I reviewed reports, presentations, technical documents, and email blasts for the Department of Family Services. I provided training on SharePoint, created a spreadsheet to track all documents through all phases of the quality assurance process, and worked with a group to develop a new document submittal procedure.

The user experience spark was lit for me at SRA as I had the opportunity to be a part of the UX team redesigning the website and the internal customer system, during both the planning and testing phases. I learned more about user experience design in my short time on the NPDB project than I could have imagined.

Technical Writer, Editor

Conceptualized with friends in 2012 and funded by a Kickstarter campaign in 2013, the e-commerce store launched in December 2013. 

As a co-founder I was a part of the team brainstorming the original product offerings and designs, along with the Kickstarter promotional video and campaign. 

I developed and implemented the original social media strategy to promote the Kickstarter campaign. Following funding I developed a new company 2014 social media strategy increase followers and engagement and promote newly opened store as effectively as possible.

I wrote for our social media accounts and informational (while also entertaining) posts for the company blog. As head of the blog I also created an editorial calendar to keep other co-founders on track for content development.

Co-Founder & Social Media Manager

Hired as the Office Manager, I eventually took on more than just administrative and event planning duties. 

After researching and charting the entire business process flow from client contact to contract management as my first company project, I analyzed the entire process and provided suggestions for improvement and efficiency. Before leaving the organization I documented multiple processes that I established including accounts payable and receivable, collections, and office administration.

As a part of the marketing team I proposed both an internet marketing strategy to include online ad space, social media, and content creation.

Office & Marketing Manager

Coordinated demonstrations and acted as a cross-company liaison not only with Costco warehouses and stores but with vendors, potential vendors, and other CDS regions. 

I worked with the sales and scheduling team to increase company revenue through the acquisition of increased demonstrations within Costco warehouses.

Working with multiple vendors I saw the need for a vendor database and created a simple one within Excel to track all vendor contact information and products.

Scheduling Coordinator

My primary responsibilities were to provide exceptional customer service during all phases of customer interaction from product purchase through receipt of education credit, and to establish and maintain profitable relationships with child care organizations.

I developed and presented a social media strategy to increase industry saturation and company profitability, and provide an additional outlet to interact with customers.

Because all transactions were still being calculated manually, I created and maintained a full Excel database of the purchasing catalog with proper calculations for easier and quicker transactions.

Customer Support and Marketing Assistant

After only six months with the company I was promoted to Audi of America Service Liaison in a dealer location from Administrative Assistant in a collision center. 

As an Administrative Assistant I wrote a training manual for temporary and new employees, and had the opportunity to use it for training during my time in this position.

As the Audi of America Liaison I worked through the dealership to provide premium service to Audi and Volkswagen headquarters corporate employees regarding vehicle service, inspection, and delivery. I also established an organizational system for human resource files within the department.
