Freelance Illustrator

Charleston is a wonderful place where local artist of every type (culinary, fine art, fashion...etc.) can go and sell their personal, handmade creations.  Currently I sell work from my portfolio at the market and online while freelancing between projects.  It is a fun and inspiring experience to learn and communicate with some of the most creative and friendly people I have ever met.

Roxo is a local childrens jewelry company where I design retail packaging, hang tags, PDQ 
displays catalogs, brochures, and web sliders, amongst countless other material. I am the 
senior designer of Roxo and the manager of the Disney account. I demand quality, creativity, and 
consistency in every design that is submitted. I expect to exceed high standards and have 
trained newly hired designers with these high standards in mind.

Job Duties Include: 
 
Prepares presentations for sales and marketing meetings. 
 
Coordinates samples for sales sample sets. 
 
Comments and tracks developments in PLM and with vendors. 
 
Works with Marketing department to coordinate samples for catalog layout and photography. 
 
Able to effectively work with all functional departments to deliver to Merchandising calendar 
 
Organized and efficient; able to complete multiple work assignments by required deadlines 
 
Able to organize file backup and archiving; Able to access archived files in a timely manner 
 
Able to work in a team-based environment

Lead Graphic Designer

Gracie creates jewelry graphics, packaging, brochures, catalogs, plush dolls and t-shirt graphics for Roxo.  She is also the manager of the Disney account for which she is responsible for all designs and submissions for approval and distribution.

Preparing digital files for print readiness.  
Designing graphics for merchandise and packaging.
Correcting digital files for costumer needs.
