Over the last 11 years in a retail sales environment I have grown from a sales associate to manager of the  Active Ride Shop flagship store in Santa Monica, California. Over that time I developed a reputation for improving profitability and employee morale after taking over under-performing stores. Active Ride Shop was a pioneer in the action sports market and maintaining and growing their brand required me to stay on top of ever changing trends in a fickle market. I am now hoping to leverage my retail experience to work with a growing company where I can continue to advance my career.

-Oversaw entire store; lead a 5 person management team and staff of 20
-Developed training and management programs to decrease employee turnover while increasing sales rates and     customer satisfaction.
-Recruited, interviewed, hired, and trained new staff
-Managed very high volume store in a tourist location that was integral to the brand.
-Responsible for merchandising and store layout 
-Ran reports to analyze sell through of specific items and brands. 
-Conceived, coordinated, and promoted various events 
-Communicated with buyers to efficiently manage inventory
-Created and implemented daily count process on high value items to prevent loss/theft and help motivate team towards hitting sales goals
-Managed the stores Facebook and Instagram accounts 
-Learned and trained staff on various POS and software systems including Excel, Word, Dynamics AX, and Retail Manager
