Social Media Marketing Consultant

As an International Marketing Intern at Behr Paint (Behr Process Corporation), I assisted with international initiatives as well as administrative tasks. A focus on internal communications meant that I created and executed items such as Lunch & Learn interactive meetings, monthly and quarterly newsletters, and ad hoc communications.

International Marketing Intern

Managed all advertising and public relations for the non-profit Fullerton Arboretum as well as coordinating various events to bring more awareness to the brand. Negotiated and determined advertising schedules in newspapers and digital media. Established and maintained press list encompassing media contacts from around the country. Wrote weekly e-newsletter and managed pages on sites such as Yelp, Facebook, Pinterest, and Twitter to increase audience engagement.

Web & Communications Coordinator

Tasked with creating and executing five-month marketing campaign with four subordinate employees in student-run advertising and PR agency. Main objectives included raising awareness of the Fullerton Arboretum brand and offerings such as classes, plant sales, and recurring events. Managed team through 5 large events throughout the campaign; while creating strategic advertisements, contacting press, and improving overall online presence through the creation and management of social media tools. Social media utilized includes Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and Pinterest.

Account Executive, Fullerton Arboretum

Responsibilities included selling and replenishing luxurious personal care items such as lotions, perfumes, and body washes as well as home fragrance items including Slatkin Co. premium candles. I restocked items as needed, provided outstanding customer service, and improved the overall Bath and Body Works Experience for each customer that walked through the door.

Sales Associate/Replenishment

Summer internship at GfK Roper focused on market research and product innovation. Worked directly with clients and senior managers to improve their brand image and products using GfK's worldwide research. Responsible for creating and editing data visualization for Fortune 500 companies using Microsoft Powerpoint and Excel.
