I am a designer who excels at creative design and directing. I possess the flare to sew, construct, draft patterns and perform computer-aided design, with an extensive background in hand drawing.  I consider myself to be an exceptionally creative thinker with intuition and knowledge of people's preferences in apparel and accessories, and  am certain to be a valuable asset to any fashion company.

Roman Apparel Group is a fast growing, dynamic company that offers the highest level of service to industry clients in Business Consulting and Brand Building, Product Development, Sourcing, and Production. The central focus of the position is technical sketching and apparel tech pack building. However, it offers me the unique possibility to gain experience and real industry knowledge in the areas of garment specification, sourcing, hands-on production and industry procedures.
       Our Company manages the development of an assortment of different labels ranging from women's contemporary to menswear, to children's, to activewear apparel. Due to this broad range of design, I am well trained in multiple categories of technical design and garment  construction specification. In addition, this position has trained me well in communicating and dealing with the clientele on a personal basis, and developing key relationships with contractors, fabric vendors, and designers.

Design Assistant / Technical Design Assistant

My responsibilities as the design assistant are to assist the head designer with technical sketches, sourcing fabric, communicating with the pattern makers, QC'ing the samples, shopping and paying attention to trend forecasts, photographing the pre production samples, working closely with the buyers, processing orders, and costing the overall production of each garment. Fashion Click has been around for the past 15 years and works with luxury retail brands such as Nordstrom. The three main lines I will be responsible for working on are Olivia Moon, Gibson, and Harlowe & Graham. These women's contemporary lines are high end blouses, skirts, and bottoms designed for the modern woman.

Design Assistant

The color department at our BCBG Corporate office is responsible for processing dyed fabric samples from mills all over the world, and ensuring that the color qualities match the color standards and fabrics the design team specifically requests. I work alongside the senior colorist to help the associate and senior designers move forward with the runway collection, mainline, outlet, and BCBG generation designs. In addition, the color team collaborates with the in house textile designers to ensure that all utilized colors/palettes are matched to the equivalent pantone to assure for unanimity across all forums of production. For each major delivery and collection the color team and myself assembles and presents the color boards that are presented to Lubov Azria the Chief Creative Officer of BCBG Maxazria. 

Responsibilities include:

•	Processing and following up on all Outlet lab dips and strike offs 
•	Prepare color standards to be sent out to garment mills
•	Maintain updated excel spre

Assistant Colorist Textile Design

DASH is a luxury retail store in West Hollywood owned by the Kardashian family. I work under the close instruction of the DASH General Manager and Buyer to help with the organization and fluidity of the store. I am responsible for steaming, hanging, unpacking garments and recording new merchandise, giving input for future purchases, assisting clientele, maintaining the cleanliness of the store, and working alongside the rest of the DASH dolls to provide for an excellent customer shopping experience.

Fashion Intern

I have been working with the San Diego Modeling Agency known as Preview Talent, as they prepare up and coming models for their talent debut. I have been styling the models for local shoots, and creating diverse looks for their model comp cards. The agency has a partnership with a local boutique, which allows me to pull clothing, accessories, and shoes for the shoots.

Freelance Stylist

“SELECT” is the exhibition of Contemporary brands in the West Coast Marketplace, held at the California Market Center in downtown Los Angeles. I participated in the event as an intern, helping the head designer of the Georgia based clothing line known as Mamie-Ruth, prepare for the show. I helped the designer with the visual display of the booth, hanging and steaming the garments, communicating with buyers, as well as promoting the brand by distributing flyers and look books to visitors.

This sales associate position brought me a significant amount of knowledge about the business side of fashion design. The work taught me the ways buyers shop, the science of floor sets, window displays, excellent customer service, the business of pricing, and in-store advertisement.

Sales Associate

I attended a fashion illustration and basic construction course in Florence. The art school taught us the basic art of draping and illustrating our designs. My first project involved an excursion into a historic Florentine market where we were required to buy scarves and construct dresses from the scraps of fabric. (I also attended a full semester of Italian language and history courses)

Fashion Illustration and Construction Course

I obtained several months of experience working side-by-side an independent fashion designer in San Diego California. The designer was preparing for her first fashion show and I helped her with design concepts and the sewing for the final production. I also contributed to the organization of the event, locating models, and transporting garments to and from the venue.
