Guest Services Supervisor - Lodging and Hotels 

My name is Nathan Whelan, I am a 23 year old professional who loves a challenge. I am graduating with a degree in hospitality management.

As a guest services supervisor I am responsible for managing our two concierge clubs, guest services desks, call centers, VIP greeting operations, and vacation planning that goes on at both the world-renowned Disneyland Hotel, and the Grand Californian Hotel and Spa, both AAA four diamond resorts. A guest services supervisor is responsible for labor recording of the employees, scheduling, service recovery for all guests, training, and and creation of training materials for all employees. Guest Service Supervisors are also trained to assist with VIP operations, front desk operations, and hotel rooms operations. 

As an international executive secretary, I lived and worked in Londrina PR, Brazil. I had many responsibilities such as event coordination, and travel planning. I was responsible for the national and international travel plans for 180 people. I was in charge of renting houses, paying the utility, cellphone, and medical expenses for the 180 people. I was responsible for assessing living conditions, and approving work projects on the residences when needed. I applied for and took care of visa renewals for international employees through the federal government. Every 6 weeks I gave an orientation and training to new employees as they arrived. I also worked as a personal assistant and translator for the President of the area. I translated conference calls, and written letters daily. I was in charge of inventory and record keeping for the headquarters office as well.
