Retail Operations Manager

The happiest people I've met in my life are the ones who spend the most time outside. I've spent
my entire career enabling people to enjoy the outdoors. In my time in the ski industry, I have
developed a reputation as a manager who can motivate a team to provide exceptional customer service. I love to conceptualize and innovate. I believe that there is always room to evaluate and improve.


Responsible for all aspects of the retail division of the resort including staffing, training, budgeting, buying and forecasting. Successfully oversaw the implementation of new Inventory management software and a remodel of two retail facilities. Also worked in resort marketing writing press releases, facilitating media visits, executing social media campaigns and assisting int he redesign and updates to Brianhead.com

Initially Hired as the Rental/Tuning Manager and eventually took over all retail operations (three outlets) at one of Oregon's most visited destinations. Managed a seasonal staff of around 30 people. Responsible for annual revenues around $2 million. Oversaw the remodel of the main store and the rental facility. Products sold ranged from ski and snowboard gear to souvenirs and fine art. Attended trade shows. Negotiated partnerships with major ski, snowboard and bike manufacturers.
