Growing up in Florence, Italy, Melissa has always been deeply influenced by fashion. She realized early on that she needed to contribute to the world by creating clothing worthy of intelligent, creative, and forward thinking people. Her goal is to design for the women and men who are always looking to be the best version of themselves. Searching to meet and work with such people, Melissa moved to Los Angeles to attend FIDM. While being in Los Angeles she has had the pleasure of interning for an upcoming clothing line called Walker Archive. Assisting with designing, fittings, creation of mood/inspiration boards, and content creation were only a few of the things she worked on. After a year of assisting at Walker Archive, Melissa also started interning a few days a week at For Love and Lemons. There she learned countless things about the design process as a whole, gained knowledge in basic pattern drafting, and perfected her Adobe Illustrator skills. When she is not interning or enjoying her time in school, Melissa writes for her own fashion blog entitled Map Of Marsella. There she documents her outfits and adventures, always accompanied by photos and style tips. Melissa's goal is to continue designing innovative clothes that enthuse individuals to better themselves and to experience life in a way they never have. Melissa is currently seeking Designer or Assistant Designer positions in the womenswear market in both Los Angeles and New York.
