Product Designer / Engineer

A 15-year veteran of product engineering and project management for automotive, bicycle, consumer, biomedical, and military products. Global experience within domestic and international corporations responsible for new products launches, continuous improvement, warranty/defect reduction and manufacturing/assembly operations.

Responsible for performing engineering tasks in product ideation, design, development, analysis, product testing, customer support, and value engineering relative to production of new products, modification and improvement of existing interconnection products

~ Project and Resource Management of concurrent projects at Albuquerque, San Diego and Pittsburgh locations
~ Responsible for business development of contract research & development (CRAD) engineering services for start-up and incubator companies (Vista Therapeutics, Acoustic Cytometry Systems, Inlight, MSR-Cascade Designs)


New Product Development Engineer

~ Cultivation of engineering service contracts for the development of automotive components, consumer products, petroleum exploration and alternative energy technology
~ Hands-on CAD design using SolidWorks, Catia and MODO engineering software; Verification via FEA and CFD 
~ Engineering documentation (APQP, FMEA, DVP&R, PPAP, ECO, etc) and Project Management (eProject\ERP)
