Online Marketing Specialist

I oversee and coordinate the health and wellness program for an office of approximately 100 employees. I teach multiple exercise classes per week in the office, relieving employee stress, building relationships, and creating office culture. With our corporate office, I spearhead and organize multiple events per year including a 7 week self-improvement course and a charity event to benefit local underprivileged youth. Along with leadership and organizational duties, I write email marketing blasts, maintain distribution lists, hold new employee information sessions, and survey the employee base for program improvement opportunities.

ACTIVEx Champion

I collaborated with RegOnline.com users and internal customers to build unique solutions to event management issues. I also trained new and established users on this deep SaaS platform. The RegOnline system is an online event management system encompassing all aspects of the event management process. With our client base, I discussed email marketing, event building, and attendee management, among other things. I also prided myself on going the extra mile and helping customers with general PC technology questions, assisting with internet browsers, MS Windows settings, MS Office, printers, and other issues that prevent our client base from getting the full RegOnline experience. I also wrote and edited technical Knowledge Base articles to increase customer feature adoption and understanding.

Client Application Specialist

I performed inside and outside sales in Boulder/Denver region for widely-circulated, content-driven magazine. During this time, I also analyzed current market conditions and client needs to create detailed, multimedia proposals. Additionally, I collaborated with our creative team to develop spec ads for current and prospective customers to increase sales and up-sell opportunities.

Account Executive

I reviewed information collected by field staff to check for completeness, consistency, and adherence to data protocols and schedules. I also performed quality checks audits to ensure accuracy of internal records and field staff data. During my time with Stratus, I was also involved in a complete process redesign and beta tested new software and procedures.

I interviewed households on a variety of topics to be used for further federal government analysis. I also adhered to strict data collection processes with an eye for detail and completeness. Additionally, I performed complex follow-up correspondence on vacant homes, address inaccuracies, and difficult households. During this time, I worked to strict deadlines under pressure while adapting to rapidly changing environments and situations.

Enumerator

I examined shipping lane capacities and used a complex shipping costing program to determine volume shipment rate quotes. While doing spot quotes, I also worked with management to innovate new methods for costing shipments and offered process improvements to increase conversion rate. In addition to costing shipments, I also negotiated volume quotes over the phone to maximize company profit and customer savings. For 2008, my negotiations were responsible for almost $450,000 of incremental revenues.

Spot Quote Pricing Analyst

I performed inside and outside sales in the remote zones of Kansas, Nebraska, and Missouri. I negotiated shipping RFPs based on client needs, freight flow, commodity shipped, and destination. I consistently grew my territory with over 100% growth in October 2007 over October 2006.  Additionally, I converted customer issues and complaints into revenue growth and effectively developed my limited customer base through prospecting, lead generation, and cold calling.
